It was an amazing evening and lots of fun for everyone. Each author discussed the dance history and how they came to write it, what they were trying to achieve, and discussed parts of interest to most skaters, then demonstrated those parts and the whole dance.

After the presentations, the autograph table was crowded with skaters who received personally autographed copies of the diagrams which were provided as a souvenier. Authors graciously answered questions regarding their dances.

Later, during the evening, David skated his dance with two ladies at once, a very nice demonstration of the triple doublecross waltz! Not to be outdone, Sammy skated with one of his babies (the dancing doggie). He heard about Karyn's singing dog at our Christmas Show. The evening almost went to the dogs, but we all had a wonderful time.

The event was held on Tuesday Evening, March 19th 2002 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The session had been extended by about ˝ hour to allow for the usual dance sets.
