2012-2013 Figure Skating Club Activities
So far this year, of the four competitive skaters I teach, two are competing: Diane Fumia and Vickie Henshaw.
Vickie is working on a new creative dance routine. She has been trying to rally other adults and to have this event skated at unofficial meets. She is unsure about skating official solo events this year as her mother in Florida is in poor health and she has been spending a lot of time there.
2011-2012 Figure Skating Club Activities
I have three skaters who competed this year, and only one represented our club: Vickie Henshaw.
Vickie's focus was on creative dance which is not generally skated by adults. She does it because she loves it. She entered a difficult solo dance event and I believe she placed 4th.
2010-2011 Figure Skating Club Activities
There are fewer meets this year as attendance has been down.
Awards Dinner this year is in the afternoon. April 3, 12-4:30, $27 by Mar 15th, Venus de Milo, Swansea.
