On May 7th, 2006, the Skateland Figure Skating Club held it's second skating show of the season to raise funds for skaters traveling to national competition. We had two skits with props, Cinderella and Batman. Video tapes are available by order at $10 each. The official photographer, Jean Publicover came and took a big picture of the entire cast which is available to purchase. A photo album is in the coaches office of pictures taken by both Mary and Jean and copies can be ordered for a nominal fee. A special fund raising event was to have your picture taken with the Batman cast and thank you to the people participated in that. Those pictures are available from Mary at $5 each.

All the skaters and their families worked very hard to prepare for this show. A special thanks to Cheryl Rounds who did a great job on the 50/50 raffle, and to the snack bar and bake sale people.
Thank you to all who donated so that our competitors might be able to travel to the national competition.

8. Amanda Bati and Amy Claus skate Caroll Swing to “”.

9. Sue Fraser and Fred Dufault skate a tango demonstration to “Bailamos” by Enrique Iglesias.

10. CINDERELLA. The story of Cinderella, play written by Angela Davis, Director, Karen Kane. Deanna is Cinderella, Nancy is Step Mother, Amber and Allyson are Sisters, Angela is Fairy Godmother, Keith Webb is the Prince, Amanda joins Keith at the ball doing Jamskating exhibition. Mice are Georgiana, Monica, Briana, Don and Ashley.

INTERMISSION....BAKE SALE...DOOR PRIZE and 50/50 Raffle Drawing. Soso does Kareoke to entertain you.

11. Georgiana Levesque skates her free style singles routine.

12. Dance Teams present a syncronized team dance to “I Feel Like a Woman” Nancy and Rob, Theresa and Carl, Terri and Flip, Sue and Fred. Dance is Disco Boogie.

13. Amanda Bati skates Sophomore solo dance Viva Cha Cha.

14. Figure Demonstration. Competitors: Fred Bergeron, Nancy Gauthier, Georgiana Levesque, Amber Mercier, demonstrate school figure skating techniques.

15. Amy Claus presnts Classic solo dance “California Swing” to “”.

16. Karen Kane, Georgia Renfroe, and Cheryl Rounds skate solo dance Progressive Tango to “I Need to Know”, Mac Anthony.

17. Nancy Gauthier & Terri Goodridge skate Esquire solo dance “The Werner Tango"

18. Theresa Brunelle and Soso Whaley skate solo dance Skaters March to Santana’s “Smooth”.

19. BATMAN. “The Joker, Vilest Villain in Haverhill Tonight”. Batman is Fred D., Robin is Don, Joker is Alfred B., Damsel in Distress is Breanna, Police are Rob, Carl, Flip, Roland. Batcar built in the Batcave by Fred Dufault. Play written by Mary P.

20. FINALE. Please applaud the efforts of our hard-working and multi-talented skating club members and our excellent coaches–“show business”..
