General Information
Each class member is given a class card which lists the class requirements on the back. During the class, these requirements are checked off as the student meets each requirement. In Roller Figure Skating there are achievement tests and competitions that parallel the type of skating you may be familiar with in the Ice Skating schedules. Roller skaters do all the same things that you see on TV on ice. At SKATELAND you can learn all the basics necessary to go on to skate the Skating Club and/or take private skating lessons to advance to a competitive level of skating.PRIVATE SKATING LESSONS (1 on 1) are offered by appointment by certified coaches and by apprentice coaches.
The instructor in charge of the above classes is Cynthia Gates.
Apprentice Coaches are assisting with class instruction and are available for private instruction. Various club members occasionally assist the coaches.
