Skateland Figure Skating Club Holiday Show 2009
On December 13th, 2009, the Skateland Figure Skating Club held it's first skating show of the season to raise funds for skaters traveling to the national championships which will be held this year in Lincoln, Nebraska.Thanks to all of you who skated or helped with behind the scenes to make this show a success in every way. At the half-time intermission, we had two wonderful non-skating acts. Fred Dufault and Susan Frazier performed a ballroom dance exhibition of the Rumba, and Nancy Gauthier's ballet company, "", performed a ballet number.
There was a 50/50 raffle, a gorgeous wine and cheese basket, and three bags of books that were also raffled off.
